Hello everyone,
This is the first post of the Manland Blog. What is Manland? Manland is the name our house has gotten, due to the largely testosterone driven environment that we maintain here. It's 4 guys and 1 girl, with a large cast of additional members who don't live here. What are you going to find here? A few things-
Random Quotes: Everyone in this house is pretty hilarious. I figured I'd share.
Video Game/Movie/TV/Book commentary: 4/5ths of the people in this house work or have worked in the Video Game industry, and we're all avid Movie and TV watchers. The other person in the house works in a bookstore, and 3 of us are heavy readers anyway.
Health and Fitness info: As of January 2010, everyone in the house is trying to get healthy. Out of the five of us, 3 of us are definitely obese (not morbidly, but, for example, when I started, I was about 300lbs on a 6ft frame).
Terribly Incorrect Comedy: We have a skewed sense of humor. Reader be warned.
Who lives at Manland? I'll use nicknames for everyone besides myself:
Me- My name's Greg, although many call me Viking, or Mr. Bus, or Fat Baby.
The Devil- My girlfriend, and the only female in the house. She's really a saint for putting up with all of our crap.
The Robot- One of my roommates who often does the robot, just out of boredom.
Indie Guy- Another one of my roommates who listens to lots of indie music and watches independent films alot. He's also a hell of a gamer.
Stabby- The quiet guy.
